Classic hockey heckling

Or chirping, whatever you want to call it.

Funny voice

LOL Holland. A classic video.

A subtitled version that gives a good explanation of what happened:

Well, only 360+ days until next year's draft.

Found this video hilarious, especially around the 1:20 mark... comparing the NFL draft to the Vietnam Draft (which wasn't funny, but this video is).

Drain Your Brain... meet Flick Your Bic

From 1974... complete with a pimp.

Rodney Mullen appreciation

Like many other kids that grew up with Nintendo 64, I wanted to be a skateboarder after playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater obsessively with my friends. One of the characters that you could choose to be was Rodney Mullen; one of the most accomplished street skaters of all time.

You don't have to like skateboarding to appreciate these clips; they're pretty amazing. The first one is from Japan in 1984 - gives you an idea of how long Mullen's been skating.

Here's a more modern clip... circa 2000/2001

Legendary 90's song: One Headlight

I just heard a rumor last night that this song was written while driving through Winona? I couldn't find anything on the internet about it, so I assume it's false... but man, that would be crazy - this is one 90's song that I'll never forget.

I saw Lupe Fiasco for the second time in my life last night. He came to St. Peter, Minn. to rock out at Gustavus Adolphus College - which was surprising, considering the small size of the school.

I really think Lupe is the best lyrical rapper alive. He shits on Wayne when it comes to content, flow, originality, really any category. The only thing Wayne does better than anyone is slurp codeine and continue his daily trek to becoming brain-dead.

My favorite song from last night (and from the last time I saw him) was Daydreamin'. The contrasts between the soft and loud parts and the build-ups in-between give me shivers. He really knows how to entertain! Look for the new album coming out soon.

Here's a video shown to me by Mel610 of Niketalk... it's from Lupe's performance in Washington D.C. last week.

"God Warrior" late pass

I'm not sure how I've never seen this... she's right up the same alley as Phelps-Roper and the preacher from Jesus Camp.

I watched the whole episode (it's in 10 parts, just type in "god warrior") on YouTube... it's absolutely disgusting how Perrin (the fat, gap-toothed jesus freak) acts holier than thou while the hippie dude is obviously a better person than her in every way. Perrin won't listen to anything that she is scared of or doesn't understand. Pathetic!

Props to Joe "LBJ" Mazzuca for providing the clip.

American Idol - great clip

This made me laugh pretty hard. Forwarded to me by Chris Dudley.

Sam Adams... lol

I never thought rapper Sam Adams would look like this. As much as I hate to say it, a rapper's appearance definitely plays into the respect factor, unless their skills are unreal. Sam Adams is average and looks like a kid that I would hate... plus he's from Boston.

My Mom's on Facebook

I normally don't like these types of videos, but this one is really well-done. The bridge made me laugh pretty hard... "god damn you Mark Zuckenberg!"

Brett Favre become's league's only grandfather

Yes, Favre's daughter Brittany (whom I've always had a thing for... but she still won't add me on Facebook) has had a baby.

This is going to be a tough reality for Favre's opponents if he's beating teams next year with a gray beard and with his grandchild observing from the luxury boxes.

Keyshawn: "I can't wait to teach Dwayne Jarrett"... turns out to be his replacement

Keyshawn Johnson, under the impression that Jarrett was drafted to be his understudy, learned three days after the 2007 draft that he was actually his replacement. Oops.

"Detox" is coming out this year

If you don't want to hear about Dre's new headphone line, fast-forward this video to the 6:40 mark.

Duke wins... sigh

I really would have liked to see Butler win last night. They played great D and they run a good fast break. Also, there's just something cool about the little school winning a championship.

I also just naturally hate Duke. There are so many superficial fans that claim they've repped Duke since birth, yeah okay buddy.

Andrew Bogut dislocates shoulder... ouch

And the Bucks were doing so well, too... fast-forward to 0:53 for the slow-motion view. Horrible.

Omaha Midnight Jam

I recently came home from Omaha, where I spend a few days jamming and learning more about drums with my uncle and brother. Here are some clips from our jam sessions:
