Death Wish week on AMC

This is unbelievable... Death Wish week!

There's nothing better than watching Charles Bronson get revenge on drug-addled street gangs. Apparently AMC is playing a marathon all week. Click here for their rankings of the five movies... I would have to say that I disagree. My favorites (most entertaining) are probably 1. DW3 2. DW4 3. DW2 4. DW5 5. DW1. The original Death Wish is the only one that has any sort of cinematic value, which makes it the least funny installment.

Tune in to AMC this week and get a taste of street justice.

Matta - Release the Freq

GREAT video. Reminds me of the Pyramids album cover. Props to Steve for the reference.

New banner

DYB is switching things up a little bit. I decided to simplify the banner and go with a more streamlined look.

Alternative covers for "100 Percent"

I had way too much fun making these.

Finally: 100 PERCENT

Yesterday I released "100 Percent" onto Bandcamp for downloading. This is the culmination of three years of recording beats and picking the best 14. I am very happy with the finished product, and I hope that you all will check it out and give it a listen.

The beattape is available for free download on my Bandcamp. Anyone wishing to record vocals over any of these songs may do so; please credit me (Papa Con) when doing so. Thanks.

New band that I am digging: Secret Colours

Psychedelic rock. Check out their Bandcamp page... coming to Minneapolis' Kitty Cat Club on 4/23. I was always sort of intimidated by that place.

Jacob Tucker (Illinois College) is one of the more interesting stories in sports right now. The kid with below-average height from a Division-III school has just earned the NCAA dunking crown. Check out his winning dunks below:
