When I initially heard the news, I knew that a shitstorm of social media (namely Facebook statuses) was imminent. According to the article above, over 5,000 tweets per second were being sent out at Twitter's peak last night. Unbelievable. I haven't seen anything like this since the 2008 Presidential Election.
It's crazy how connected we are.
